Cancellation policy

Cancellation of events, withdrawal, cancellation fees

1.1 The seminars and training courses will be conducted as described in the invitation, subject to any necessary organisational or programme changes which do not have a significant influence on the nature of the event. A claim to an initially intended speaker does not exist if they are unable to attend for important reasons (e.g. short-term illness). Other speakers who are equally qualified in technical matters are to be accepted by the participants and do not constitute a shortcoming.

1.2 In the event that the event needs to be cancelled for an important reason, for example in the event of short-term illness of the speaker in or insufficient number of participants, the organiser reserves the right to cancel the event by the 1st day of the event. The participation fee will of course be refunded in full. Further claims cannot be asserted.

1.3 In the event that the participant needs to cancel a binding event booking, the organiser must be informed immediately in writing via e-mail. The date on which the e-mail is received determines the cancellation fees. The following cancellation fees are hereby agreed: ・ Cancellation up to 21 days before the start of the event: free・ Cancellation between 7 and 20 days before the start of the event: 50 percent of the participation fee plus VAT ・ Cancellation within 7 days before the event: 100 percent of the participation fee plus VAT.

1.4 If the participant is unable to attend, a replacement participant who meets the requirements for participation and will pay the full participation fees may be named.

 

Right of cancellation for the delivery of digital content

2.0 Exclusion or premature expiry of the right of cancellation for the delivery of digital content

The right of cancellation expires prematurely if Oehm und Rehbein GmbH has started to implement the contract after you have

• a) have given your express consent and at the same time confirmed that you will lose your right of cancellation when Oehm und Rehbein GmbH begins to fulfil the contract, and
• b) Oehm und Rehbein GmbH has made the content of your declaration available to you on a permanent data carrier (e-mail) within a reasonable period after conclusion of the contract, but at the latest when the digital content is made available.

We would like to point out that Oehm und Rehbein GmbH can make the conclusion of the contract dependent on the aforementioned consent and confirmation. The right of cancellation expires prematurely if Oehm und Rehbein GmbH has only started to implement the contract after you have given your express consent and at the same time confirmed that you will lose your right of cancellation when we start to fulfil the contract.
